HOW TO GET

By car

Coming from the A3 Salerno-Reggio Calabria motorway:
from the northexit at Battipaglia and take the state road 18;

from the southexit at Eboli and take the SS 18.
From state highway 18exit at Capaccio Scalo to reach Via Cafasso for the Tabacchificio and via Magna Grecia for the Archaeological Park and the Basilica.

On the train

Salerno is the final high-speed station for Southern Italy from Milan (about 5 hours and 30 minutes), Rome (2 hours), Turin (about 6 hours and 30 minutes) and Venice (about 6 hours).

Regional trains from Naples and Salerno stop at the Paestum railway station (40 km away from Salerno).

The Cafasso Tabacchificio is 2,500 meters from Paestum station and 2,000 meters from the National Archaeological Museum.
The Archaeological Park, the National Museum and the Basilica are about 900 meters from the Paestum station.
